Mix of 350l barrel and a wine globe.
Rich floral nose. Lively energy here. A nuttier backbone to the fruit here – hazelnuts and almonds, and a touch of sweetness. Very pure minerality here. Super elegant and charming, with great length. L&S (Dec 2023)

Once again moderate wood is present on the spicier and slightly riper aromas of pear and apple compote, citrus confit, passion fruit and crushed anise. The caressing and highly seductive flavors brim with dry extract that imparts a sappy texture and buffers the moderately firm acidity shaping the lemony, nicely dry and sneaky long finish. The sugar has not quite been fully fermented out. Production is two new 350l new barrels and one wine globe of 220l. The bouquet is really attractive, the fruit having eaten the wood. Not so much on the palate, where some oak remains alongside the fresh plums, and you can see the touch of sugar though under 2g/l remain. Drink from 2027-2035. Domaine Thomas-Collardot
Jacqueline Collardot and her son Matthieu own and run this exciting 'micro-domaine' in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet. Matthieu completed his studies in 2019 and joined Jacqueline permanently, just in time for the harvest. Now they are working together we look forward to a slightly bigger production - as while she worked alone she was limited to what she could achieve all on her own, with excess grapes being sold on.
At only 2.5ha, this is an artisan project, allowing them to give unrivalled time and care to every parcel she has. Jacqueline inherited these vineyards from her father’s Domaine Thomas Pierre in 2010 after he retired and is slowly raising the profile with her incredible care and attention. Although there may not be much quantity - the quality is impeccable. These are classically shaped, bright wines that express their various Puligny terroirs perfectly.
From 2020 the domaine is now organically certified.
