GRAHAM
2024
The 2024 Vintage Port was produced with a blend of 55% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, mostly from their Malvedos vineyards (but not exclusively), a 9% field blend of old vines and 6% Sousão from Quinta do Tua, another property separated from Malvedos by the Tua River. It fermented in stainless steel lagar with foot-treading robots and matured in large oak vessels for 18 months. The wine comes from very low yields, and the nose is phenomenal, very high on Touriga Nacional, with floral notes—orange blossom—a touch of resin, a typical Graham's eucalyptus/minty thing, really morish. This is a really delicious Graham's; it's a sweeter, very generous wine that tends to be velvety with good tannins and length, more powerful and concentrated. The tannins are more assertive than the Warre's, for example, and it has the grip from the Sousão. This is certainly going to be long lived. It's relatively dry at 107 grams of sugar. 71,220 bottles produced. This was last produced in 2020. Drinking range: 2031 - 2070 Rating: 96-97 Luis Gutierrez, www.robertparker.com (Apr 2026)

Introduced by Anthony Symington, the Graham’s 2024 beautifully captures both the richness and the finesse of this impressive vintage. Quinta dos Malvedos accounts for around three quarters of the blend, bringing its hallmark depth of dark plum fruit and layered structure, while the inclusion of some Vinha Velha fruit this year — with no separate bottling from the ancient vines — adds an extra dimension of complexity and detail.Touriga Franca plays a particularly important role in the blend, contributing generous aromatic fruit, while Touriga Nacional brings freshness, lift and a subtle citrus edge. Intriguingly, the nose at first feels almost more like an aromatic red wine than a young Vintage Port, with vibrant purple fruit, Mediterranean herbs and hedgerow notes unfolding with remarkable clarity. The palate follows with a finer, more delicate feel than expected, showing excellent freshness and purity from the outset. The wine gradually builds in power and weight, yet always remains sleek, poised and gently steely in structure. Floral notes rise through the finish, while a persistent citrus freshness gives the wine energy and real drinkability despite its depth.L&S (May 2026)
A blend from all the Graham quintas: Malvedos and Tua with Vila Velha and Vale de Malhadas, the latter in the Douro Superior, 55% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, 9% Vinha Velha and 6% Sousão: Characteristically deep and inky in colour, subdued on the nose with just a touch of heat showing through, dusty earth with mint and eucalyptus; similarly dusty, ripe and fleshy on the palate with breadth and sweetness, firm but broad ripe tannins piling up mid-palate leading to a long structured, spicy finish, again well-defined and magnificent overall. 5935 cases. Rating: 19.5 Richard Mayson, www.richardmayson.com (May 2026)
This shows dark fruit, notably blackberries, and is expressive overall. Full-bodied and voluptuous, with a textural profile of polished, subtly granular tannins that are broad through the finish. Rich, yet with a precise shape. Best from 2032. Rating: 95 Jacobo García Andrade, www.jamessuckling.com (May 2026)
