Aromas of dark berries, cherries and plums, mingled with subtle hints of licorice and violet, introduce the 2025 Château Mangot, a medium- to full-bodied, layered and velvety wine that's intensely flavored, vibrant and penetrating. Mangot has enjoyed a formidable run in recent years, but the 2025 gives every indication of ranking alongside the 2022 as the estate's best to date. It's a blend of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Rating: 93-95 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (May 2026)

The 2025 Mangot is a soft, open-knit Saint-Émilion. Floral and silky, with gorgeous mid-palate structure, the 2025 is one of the most restrained Saint-Émilions of the vintage. Rose petal, lavender, mint, blood orange and pomegranate are some of the many notes that grace this exquisite red. Tasted two times. Medium intensity, limestone fingerprint that shows pumice stone and chalk but stays on the right side of juicy, bright, measured acidities. Plenty of textural components here, supporting autumnal berry fruits, with pulses of orange peel. A little subdued right now, will blossom over the next few years. Château Mangot
A single block of 37 hectares of vines on limestone clay soils run by the Todeschini family. The vineyard is planted with 75% Merlot, although this is tending to give way to Cabernet Franc in new plantings. 5% Cabernet Sauvignon completes the mix. Farming is organic, and the estate was awarded the Robert Parker 'Green Emblem' in 2023.
Élevage is in a mix of barrels, foudres and amphorae.

Crunchy and pretty, with peaches, dark chocolate, walnut and spices on the nose and palate. Medium body, firm and racy with a bright finish. The quality is always excellent, and it’s extremely well priced. Drink or hold.
