Médoc and Haut Médoc
We particularly enjoyed the range of the Médoc and Haut Médoc wines this year. They have good deep colours and sappy fruit with concentration, good expression and shape - enough concentration even if not the weight of the Crus Classés. Generally the Cabernet content is high, and the wines have quite a cool, structured feel, making them ideal for mid-term cellaring. A source of lots of real value for money if you have a cellar to stash it in on arrival.
