Côte de Beaune

From seven or more little parcels around the bottom of the village under Morgeot. Fresh and juicy with a lovely thread of salinity as well as good volume.

20-30% Pinot Blanc in the vineyard. Long fermentation, so still half-made when we tasted. Good volume and body, it's something a little different, but very likeable. Not very deep soils - it's on pebbles.

100% frosted in 2021 - always early ripening and budding so it got hit! Great to have it back in 2022. Pretty nose with blossom and citrus notes. Palate has some good crisp apple edged fruit and gentle, warm lemon note....(read more)

Good rich ripeness to the fruit – greengages, with a touch of peachiness. Nicely balanced, great acidity and freshness.
