2012 RIOJA ALAVESA Sierra de Toloño

Grapes: Tempranillo

This is winemaker Sandra Bravo’s first vintage at this new project after stints in Bordeaux, Chianti, Marlborough, California and now Priorat. This shows fresh, almost crunchy Tempranillo fruit from a high vineyard, with natural ripeness and good tannins. Very modern.’  Steven Spurrier
