Neil Pike seemingly has a season ticket to 100 Best and this will not change as long as he continues to enchant us with wines like this one. Fleshy, ripe, cool and incredibly detailed, Pikes Riesling is a joyous wine and one that deserves to cast its spell on a far wider fan base. Pikes Polish Hill River Estate

James Suckling writing about Pikes in 2018 says 'They’re good, consistent wines packed with soulful interest, offering great value.' We certainly agree and are delighted to still be working together after more than 20 years. Owned by the Pike brothers, one of whom (Andrew) was for many years the senior viticulturist with Southcorp, the other (Neil) a former winemaker at Mitchells. Pikes now has its own winery, with Neil Pike presiding.

Generously constructed and flavoured wines are the order of the day, but wines which also have a restraint and a drinkability far ahead of some of the 'maximum one glass' reds that seem to dominate Australian shows and exports.
