A nose that seems further-evolved, old dark red roses, heady and deeply floral. So floral it is quite extreme, but I love it - a touch of very dark chocolate on the finish. Quite full enough and the aromas linger. From vines opposite Bonnes Mares. Drinking range: 2021 - L&S (Nov 2015)

A slightly more elegant and airy nose once again combines a variety of floral elements with those of pomegranate, red currant and wet stone hints. The mouth feel of the medium weight flavors is lacy to the point of being almost delicate while exhibiting excellent minerality on the energetic and tension-filled finale that delivers just a bit more overall depth and length. Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot
Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
