65 year -old vines - planted 1950. In terms of Olivier's reds, this is quite broad and firm and muscled - but still bright and firm with juicy fresh raspberryish acidity Drinking range: 2017 - L&S (Nov 2015)

*Case Price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

(from a 1.06 ha parcel planted in 1950). This is a bit more aromatically complex if otherwise similar with more volume to the very rich and voluminous flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel that is enhanced by the slightly finer-grained tannins. There is lovely balance and length and overall, this is a more complete effort than the Clos des Hâtes. 2021+ Rating: 88-91 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Apr 2016)

Domaine Hubert Lamy

Olivier Lamy, has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander villages on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
