Simply gorgeous. A perfect example of Morey St Denis? There is a lovely fruit weight, soft and full but not cooked in any way. Bright and impressive tension with nice minerality running right through. L&S (Nov 2019)

A slightly more deeply pitched nose features notes of black cherry, plum and a top note of pomegranate. The sleeker and more refined medium weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the bitter cherry pit-inflected finale. The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis en la Rue de Vergy has a perfumed, floral bouquet, the 20% new oak nicely integrated. The palate is lovely, with supple fleshy tannins, copious red cherry and cranberry fruit and a touch of spice toward the pure, elegant finish. Excellent. Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot
Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.

We have the sleek, unshowy power of a 2016 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru from Henri Boillot, and a simply gorgeous 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis from Perrot-Minot that offers incredible tension and fruit weight.
The whites are equally majestic. We’ve included a dense and powerful 2020 Meursault 1er Cru from Rémi Jobard (a man who has revolutionised his domaine with organic farming and Austrian oak foudres). There’s a linear and mineral 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Domaine Berthelemot that builds with real power, and a classically shaped Puligny-Montrachet from the exciting micro-domaine Thomas-Collardot.
These are wines of patience, history, and "grand confidence". They deserve the best glassware, the best food, and your favourite people.
