On the south side of the village, but exposed to the north, or it would have been a Premier Cru at this level of the slope. On red clay with limestone under - like Les Borniques (which it is above) and Le Musigny, says Thibault. There's class here - the delicacy and supple elegance of Chambolle. Still aromatically on the back foot when we tasted, but the mineral lift and length is clear. Really at the quality level of a Premier Cru. L&S (Oct 2020)

The lack of the word 'domaine' in the name signals that this is a n茅gociant wine from Thibault Liger-Belair. On the whole Thibault buys grapes having tended the vines with his own team, so that the wines are domaine wines in all but name.
