A lithe juicy yep supple red from the Languedoc, filled with bright cassis, cherry and blueberry fruit. In the mouth the berry fruitiness is underpinned with notes of mocha and a gentle earthiness. Really easy-going but with plenty of depth. Drinking range: 2020 - 2022 L&S (Oct 2020)

Chemin de la Pinède

Chemin de la Pinede is made by the over-achieving Vignerons du Sommières, a collective of small farmers in the heart of the Pays d'Oc. The quality of fruit is at the heart of what they do and working along the principles of 'Lutte Raisonée' every effort is made by the farmers to ensure healthy fruit and healthy vineyards. Some of the plots are now being worked organically, and it should not be long before these wines are certified Organic. As Co-operatives go, we have found nothing to match this brilliant producer and the Merlot is the star of the show when it comes to value for money.
