Always a winner from this prized family estate perched on the hills above the Mediterranean, the 2019 Camp del Gal is another brilliant release. A classic blend from this part of the world - the wine has lovely intensity - but there is also a purity of fruit and great definition too. A fresh lift that delivers nicely ripe fruit and some gentle spice. It cleverly remains on the right side of full-on - charming and long. Bright fruit unfettered by any oak - this is aged in steel and offers all the charm of the southern Rhone at a brilliantly fair price. L&S (Sept 2022)
