From vineyards in Puligny, Saint Romain and Monthelie. Beautiful attack, sophisticated feel and - good fruit. Gently ripe and broad. This is like 2020 on the front end - and the finish has the tension of 2019. Impressive energy and drive. L&S (Nov 2023)

*Case price discount: Mix any 12 bottles of wine (or 9 litre equivalent) or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits, Sweet Wine or Fortified (4.5 litres) to get the discounted 'case price' for each bottle.

(85% from Meursault and Puligny Bourgogne vines and the rest from declassified St. Romain and Auxey-Duresses in equal proportions). Cool and restrained aromas are composed of citrus confit, pear and a background whiff of petrol. The racy and delicious middleweight flavors possess good intensity that carries over to the clean, dry and nicely complex finale. This well-made effort should drink well young and is recommended for value. Drinking range: 2025 - Rating: 87 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jun 2024)

Domaine fruit and some purchased from St Romain, 5 barrels out of 50. Mid lemon yellow, with grapey yellow fruit on the nose. Excellent density, still quite rich and ripe in fruit style, but with an electric energy at the back. Drink from 2025-2027. Tasted: December 2023. Drinking range: 2025 - 2027 Rating: **** Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy  (Jan 2024)

Domaine Henri Boillot

A domaine which dates to 1885, but which began properly in the early years of the 20th century under the current Henri's grandfather (also Henri). His son, Jean, was the one who really developed it. Henri arrived in 1975 and worked his way up, becoming the winemaker. In 2000 he began the building of the new winery at the bottom of Meursault, and he then bought out his brother and sister to keep the domaine as one, renaming it from 'Domaine Jean Boillot' to 'Domaine Henri Boillot' to avoid confusion with his brother Jean-Marc's domaine.

The Domaine totals around 14 hectares, with roughly equal surfaces of red and white, and of which just under 4ha is the Monopole vineyard of Clos de la Mouchère, a walled enclave within the premier Cru Puligny Perrières. The 2017 vintage saw the arrival of two new parcels of Grand Cru red, in Échezeaux and Latricières Chambertin
