Lots of ripe red fruits on the nose. A bit more a floral edge here. Very elegant. Nice ripe, grippy tannins. Good intensity and concentration of fruit on the palate. Good acidity. Leave for 2-3 years. L&S (Dec 2024)

This is also quite floral in character with ripe but nicely fresh aromas of airy red berries and crushed anise nuances. There is evident minerality suffusing the delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors that display better length on the overtly austere, firm and built-to-age finale. This possesses solid aging potential but note that it’s sufficiently austere that it will probably not drink especially well young. Drinking range: 2032 - Rating: 90 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (May 2025)
Purchased in 2012 after which Olivier interplanted extra vines to bring the density up to 20,000. 100% whole bunch vinification. Mid ruby with some density. What a magical nose! Alpine strawberries, the finest raspberries you can imagine, with delicacy and intensity together. This is quite remarkable, with effortless length. Drinking range: 2028 - 2037 Rating: ***** Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy (Mar 2025)
The 2022 Santenay Clos des Gravières Vieilles Vignes has a brisk nose with dark berry fruit, briar and forest floor scents. There's something quite autumnal about the aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with a peppery entry and fine balance. The stems are quite conspicuous toward the finish. Drink this over the next decade. It is very fine. Drinking range: 2026 - 2036 Rating: 90 Neal Martin, www.vinous.com (Jan 2025)
Domaine Hubert Lamy
Olivier Lamy has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay, as well as the excellent Bourgogne Blanc. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white, remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander village names on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
Olivier's wine-making style and preference is to emphasise the fresh and the mineral side of his wines, and there is very little new wood in this cellar, with many wines with no new wood at all, and that is with the wines in 600 litre demi-muids rather that the classic Burgundy (225 litre) fût. Certainly Oliver's whites do have an arrow-like purity and intensity, and seem to age completely straight and true.
The reds are worth more than a casual mention too. Olivier has been getting some consultation help from Sylvain Pataille, and the wines have energy and bounce along with the supple tannins and ripeness.
