This has 15% Cabernet Sauvignon for some structure, which means it cannot be called Prosecco. A pure and intense rose with a hint of strawberries on the aroma, a light creamy palate and a slight peppery tannic bite. I particularly like this one. So sniff around and in the flood of Prosecco to our shores you will be rewarded by a decent bottle. In other words something light with green apple freshness – not a ‘serious’ wine, but seriously enjoyable with more a modicum of structure and which does not fall of a cliff on the finish. Il Follo

Luca Follador represents the younger generation at this estate and his introduction of a less expensive range of Prosecco 'Frizzante' wines (which are not DOC) has been a great success including in the USA.

Allegedly on his first trip to the States he arrived at his distributor's office in NY to present the wines to their clients, unshaven, in tight blue jeans and a very tight white T-shirt, because he said, 'this is what the girls like!'. These are fun wines, but very good quality too.

  • 2024 PGI Arcadia Rosé, Moropoulos: A highly aromatic Greek rosé from the Peloponnese. Vibrant and gently textured, loaded with crunchy cherry and a savoury, gastronomic finish.

  • FRANCIACORTA Brut, Corteaura: A strict traditional-method sparkling wine from Lombardy[cite: 14]. A lithe, highly complex alternative to Champagne with a chalky, mouth-watering finish.

  • 2023 CROZES HERMITAGE Rouge, Domaine du Chêne Vert: A vibrant, red-fruited Syrah from the Northern Rhône. Lush, generous, and perfectly balanced with a crushed rock minerality.

  • 2024 Macabeo Écologico, Bodegaverde de San Valero: Grown at serious altitude in the Aragonese desert. Overflowing with brilliant peach and quince flavours coupled with a zesty lemon backbone that keeps it delightfully fresh.
