2015 Bordeaux en primeur : Pick 'n' Mix

Billed in some quarters as 'the last chance to save the en primeur system' the 2015 vintage is at least widely regarded as being pretty good. But let's be clear, this is not 2010, nor 2009, nor 2005, and the producers need to keep in mind the reality that none of the past four vintages has sold particularly well, or shown the end consumers why buying en primeur is a good idea for them. The vintage is also not consistent, so it is important to choose carefully.
There is no question that there are some wines here we'd like to have in our cellars. Some of these should be very reasonably priced, since the potential for quality seems to have extended far and wide in 2015, even if the ability to capitalise on the potential seems to have been less universal.
Do remember that we are all available and happy to discuss and advise. David Porter, Tom Lorimer and Charles Lea were all in Bordeaux for the full tasting week, and will all be able to give personal recommendations once the prices have begun to come out.
- See the regular posts in the -> EN PRIMEUR BLOG <- for the latest news and more in depth reporting of our thoughts on the vintage.
The prices are quoted in bond, as per the TERMS of the 2015 Bordeaux Primeur offer.
