Separated by the width of a track from 1er Cru Goutte d'Or. Quite a jolly roundness here, ripe fruit which fills the palate with juice. Supple attack gives way to long fresh and quite intense finish. L&S (Dec 2013)

Pale, green-tinged straw-yellow. High-pitched aromas of lime, lemon and lavender. Densely packed and youthfully taut, with strong acidity framing the flavors of peach, flowers, crushed stone and lavender. Finishes saline, lemon-limey and long, but with a youthful hard edge calling for patience. Jobard told me that this wine was more aromatic a month before my visit noting that some of the 2012s were shutting down in bottle "but have the concentration to age." Rating: 89(+?) Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar(Sep 2014)
There is just enough reduction present to push the fruit to the background but it's not so much that the ripeness of it is in doubt. The medium-bodied flavors possess just a bit more volume along with the same attractive sense of vibrancy, all wrapped in a clean, dry, crisp and linear finish that exhibits a touch of youthful austerity. 2017+ Rating: 87-89 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com(Jun 2014)
Bright lemon-yellow. Musky yellow peach complemented by a deeper nutty element. Rich and spicy on the attack, showing lemon, grapefruit and stone flavors. Then savory and saline on the firmly structured back end, which displays lively stone and grapefruit nuances. A very good showing. Rating: 88-91 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar(Mar 2014)
This has plenty of sweet lemon fruit. Very concentrated and ripe, undercut with sweet acidity. Quite a powerhouse. Good++ From 2016Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing(Feb 2014)
The 2012 Meursault En Luraule, which neighbors “La Goutte d’Or” and is separated by a small road, is adorned with another elegant, pretty, white peach and honeysuckle-scented bouquet with admirable definition courtesy of its chalky soils. The palate is fresh and lively with green lemon and orange rind, the finish a touch spicier than the Sous la Velle and therefore, a little more persistent in the mouth. Rating: 88-90 Neal Martin, www.robertparker.com(Jan 2014)
Domaine Rémi Jobard
Rémi has been been making small qualitative changes ever since he took over here. The entire vineyard is cordon-pruned, so yields are naturally limited. There has been no use of fertiliser since 1994, and the vineyard is grassed-over to encourage the vine roots to go deep. The domaine has been certified organic from 2008. He says that the two most important things are the absence of weedkiller (and thus the necessity to plough, which cuts any surface roots and makes the vine go deeper) and not adding any fertiliser which again makes the roots go deeper to find nutrients.
Rémi has two vast presses, to enable him to press very slowly over six hours, and this has resulted in a big jump in finesse. The élevage now lasts nearly fifteen months, so as to allow the wines to develop slowly and to avoid fining. As a result these are wines which take a moment to show, but which reward the patient with complexity and great depth of flavour.
Rémi made a move from traditional barrels to foudres made of a mix of French, Austrian and Slavonian oak, constructed by Austrian cooper Stockinger, and having added a new one (or two) each year, there's barely a normal barrel left. He likes the way the wines develop in these large volumes, in which the 'oaking' effect is minimised.
