Black core with purple rim. Dark, savoury-inflected cassis, lots of sweet spice but a touch of black olive and dark chocolate. A little bit tight and dry on the palate, slightly severe even though there is plenty of black fruit. Savoury, chewy finish, the tannins thick but rounded.
