(from La Combe d’Orveau and Les Bussières). An exuberantly floral-suffused nose speaks of lavender, violet and lilac as well as spicy red currant scents. The gorgeously textured and refined medium weight flavors are shaped by silky fine-grained tannins on the lightly stony, balanced and lingering finish. This elegant effort is very Chambollesque in character. Drinking range: 2028 - Rating: 89-92 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2022)

100-year-old vines on clay and limestone marl. Cask sample. Lighter mid-cherry hue; red fruits, with a floral freshness. Sticks a bit of structure in on the end. Drinking range: 2025 - 2030 Rating: 16.5 Matthew Hayes, www.jancisrobinson.com (Jan 2022)

Clear bright refreshing purple, the bouquet is pure Chambolle not too rich but certainly a juicy style of fruit. Lovely long finish with a vibrant sweet cherry fruit. Very nicely handled though the Champs Perdrix probably edges this in terms of vibrancy. Tasted: December 2021 Rating: 91-94 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy  (Jan 2022)

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot

Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
