30-50 year old vines. There's not a note put of place here - completely perfect balance. Cherry top-note, all in amplitude. There's volume, concentration, acidity, depth and length, but above all there is amazing balance. L&S (Nov 2021)

Aromas of cherries, wild plums, warm spices and loamy soil introduce the 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant wine that's fleshy and concentrated, with powdery tannins and a tangy spine of acidity. Domaine Dugat-Py
Domaine Dugat-Py, along with only DRC, Roumier, Rousseau and Leroy, is rated in the top Three Star category by the 'Classement' published by the Revue du Vin de France. These are the essence of robust Burgundy, wines of huge scale and concentration. Patience is required, so lay down a few grand bottles for your dotage.
