Red peppercorn and white pepper aromas. A delicate, intense, and refined NSG, with silky tannins. The finish is perfumed and carries a hint of culinary herbs. Drinking range: 2026 - 2030 Rating: 91 World of Fine Wine Magazine (Apr 2022)

(this cuvée is composed from 20% Les Murgers, 20% Aux Cras and 60% Richemone). An attractively spicy and beautifully layered nose of red currant and cool raspberry also present plenty of floral elements. The delicious medium weight flavors possess an equally refined mouthfeel thanks in part to the fine-grained tannins on the beautifully detailed and intense finish. This youthfully austere and strikingly long effort should amply repay 12 to 15 years of keeping yet should be approachable after only 6 to 8 years. Drinking range: 2032 - Rating: 91-94 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2022)

Cask sample. There’s some depth to this raspberry-scented (as in perfume) cuvée. Finishes boldly with quite a tannic punch. Long-lived, no doubt. Drinking range: 2025 - 2035 Rating: 16.5++ Matthew Hayes, www.jancisrobinson.com (Jan 2022)

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot

Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
