53 Cabernet Sauvignon, 24 Merlot, 23 Petit Verdot | 50% new oak 50% amphoras, 15% of the total is new | 12.6% alc Perfectly linear and refined, this is a beautifully accurate Angludet. The Petit Verdot does a sterling job of joining Cabernet to its Merlot while reflecting this delightful claret’s honesty, accuracy, and refreshing nature. There is precision here, and perhaps the amphoras help focus the flavours and draw out the finish, making this a slender, supple wine with uncommon freshness and balance. This is not a wine from a bygone era but a modern work of art. Rating: 17.5 Matthew Jukes www.matthewjukes.com (Jun 2022)

A firm, savory red with notes of spiced plums, tea leaves and bark. Medium-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. A little rustic. Rating: 90-91 James Suckling, www.jamessuckling.com (May 2022)
A sterling name in the Margaux appellation, often offering outstanding value in muliple vintages. They have leaned into the vintage charater not trying to fight against it, and what you get as a result is savoury juic red and black fruits, with waves of Margaux-signature florality. 26hl/h yield after frost. 50% amphora, 50% oak barrels. Drinking range: 2025 - 2032 Rating: 90 Jane Anson, www.janeanson.com (May 2022)
The 2021 D'Angludet exhibits aromas of cherries, cassis, licorice and loamy soil, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and lively palate that's seamless and charming, even if it isn't the most characterful wine this Margaux estate has ever produced. Rating: 87-88 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (May 2022)
Château Angludet
The wine estate of Château Angludet belongs to the Sichel family, wine merchants in Bordeaux for six generations.
