100% new wood (just one 350l barrel). It does show the barrel a bit on the nose, but there's lots of fruit behind, lots of savour and density. Well done. The finish has a little phenolic lift and with the acidity it stays long. Drinking range: 2024 - 2030 L&S (Oct 2022)

(this too is rarely seen as a declared example). This is aromatically similar to the Paupillot with just a bit more citrus influence. There is again excellent vibrancy to the delicious and succulent mediumbodied flavors that are a bit finer and less powerful on the dry and lingering finale where a touch of wood slowly reemerges. This too is worth a look provided you can cellar it long enough for the wood to more completely integrate. Drinking range: 2028 - Rating: 89-91 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jun 2023)
One new 350 litre only, which explains the biscuity barrel note on the nose, not displeasing. Small millerand grapes, fatter and fleshier, partly the oak speaking, with another touch of biscuit to finish. Plenty of volume here but I would prefer less wood influence. Drinking range: 2024 - 2027 Rating: 89-91 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy (Oct 2022)
Domaine Thomas-Collardot
Jacqueline Collardot and her son Matthieu own and run this exciting 'micro-domaine' in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet. Matthieu completed his studies in 2019 and joined Jacqueline permanently, just in time for the harvest. Now they are working together we look forward to a slightly bigger production - as while she worked alone she was limited to what she could achieve all on her own, with excess grapes being sold on.
At only 2.5ha, this is an artisan project, allowing them to give unrivalled time and care to every parcel she has. Jacqueline inherited these vineyards from her father’s Domaine Thomas Pierre in 2010 after he retired and is slowly raising the profile with her incredible care and attention. Although there may not be much quantity - the quality is impeccable. These are classically shaped, bright wines that express their various Puligny terroirs perfectly.
From 2020 the domaine is now organically certified.
