Mia and her team at Chilworth have made an absolute belter once again with their delicious 2023. Brimming with energy this pretty rosé is very much in the Provence mould. Full of pretty red berry notes and a gorgeous stream of crushed petals and some rhubarb and red current zip. This charming pink is just want you need as summer jolts into life. The tiny vineyard in this picture-perfect corner of the Surrey Hills is the closest winery we work with. At just 20 miles from our shops, it is very much our local wine for the summer. Chilworth Manor Vineyard
Mia and Graham Wrigley run this beautiful estate in the heart of the Surrey Hills. With the help of UK wine specialist, Stephen Skelton, they have identified the best slope for the vines, planted up with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. There will be fizz but for now they are just making their delicious still pink. Hand harvesting and a gentle touch in the winery mean that the great, crisp fruit here is left expressive and succulent. An exciting new addition tot he range and special as it is our most local vineyard! For every bottle bought a donation is made in support of For each bottle sold a donation will be made to a specific charity called Mary's Meals which helps provide much needed food for schoolchildren in Malawi.
