A beautiful, sunset pink colour. Aromas include a charming mix of fresh red fruits along with intriguing spice notes of anise and lavender. The palate has a creamy, round texture with refreshing redcurrent, raspberry and cherry flavours. Suggestions of brioche lead into an elegant, silky finish. L&S (May 2016)

A very pretty, slightly floral, red berry-scented and very assured pink sparkling wine from this prestigious English producer.Victoria Moore, The Daily Telegraph(Nov 2018)
The NV Rosé is my favorite current release from Nyetimber. It spent three years in the fine lees and includes both the 2009 and 2010 vintages. It has superb intensity on the nose with delicate scents of Morello, punnet of strawberry and a touch of cold wet limestone. The palate has a silver bead of acidity that cuts through the strawberry and red cherry tinged citrus fruit, an English sparkling Rosé that is gentle and pretty, yet retains that crucial sense of tension. This is an excellent sparkling Rosé. Rating: 91 Neal Martin, www.vinous.com(Jun 2017)
Nyetimber's non-vintage rosé is strikingly pink, strikingly creamy in texture and has a flavour of wild strawberries that is, yes, striking. It all adds up to a delicious, playful yet elegant fizz. Rating: 90 The Wine Gang - www.thewinegang.com(Jun 2016)
Like L&S in 2018 Nyetimber are celebrated an important 30th anniversary. In 1988 as Lea & Sandeman was founded, the vines were being planted here in West Sussex. Few vineyards in England are better placed to exploit the similarity between the soils of the South Downs and those of the Champagne region in France than Nyetimber in West Sussex. But it took a couple from Chicago - Stuart and Sandy Moss - to bring the dream to life when they bought Nyetimber Manor in 1986. Vineyards followed from 1988 onwards, and the first vintage released was the 1992.
Nyetimber is now owned by Eric Heerema who already owned a vineyard in West Sussex when he bought Nyetimber in 2006 and had already identified more land for planting. All were amalgamated into Nyetimber which, now, comprises some 350 acres, all planted to Chardonnay and the Pinots Noir and Meunier, making it at the time the biggest vineyard in England.
Much is made of the strata of chalk soil that hosts the vineyards of Champagne, that runs under northern France and the Channel to re-emerge in Kent and Sussex as the Downs, and many of England’s vineyards cling to that very chalk soil. But, crucially, we have the climate, on the very margins of where grapes can be persuaded to ripen, to produce the tart base wines that are ideal for high quality sparkling wine production. All that, the classic grape varieties and much expertise and even more enthusiasm has propelled England to the forefront of the sparkling wine world. In this case we've got wines from five different estates, all with something to say on the subject, and the case includes a couple of cheeky rosés because we do it so well.
