Quite firm and straight, this is on a red fruit expression, cherry and redcurrant, taut and bright.

Still the density and concentration of the vintage, but within that a lovely purity of cherry-bright focus and great fruit succulence.

Darker fruit expression than the village wine, but this becomes more expressive as it picks up in the mid-palate, with scents of peony, violet and rose. Lovely expression and terrific texture suggesting more to come.

Part of Beaux Bruns is Premier Cru, so this is close - on clay, a richer palate than Thibault's 'Vieilles Vignes' cuvée.

Fully-formed and this now really singing of Chambolle with floral notes and red berry lift - very Chambolle in texture, gliding silkily and long.

Fabulous straight off the blocks, with Premier Cru richness and a little spice. Silkily supple with deep dark floral fruit.
