Again the bight fruit, ripe but still floral on the nose, good weight of silky body on the palate. Very attractively pure and straight.

This replaces the 'Comme Dessus' cuvee in the line-up this year at that vineyard was frosted 100%. A supple and rounded wine with old vines ripeness and it will be an easy wine to drink young.

Well rounded. Elegant. Still quite ripe but well balanced. Strawberry, raspberries. Sweet spice. Juicy with ripe tannins. Finishes well.

The Clos Rousseau class shows in the bluer colour, the lifted mineral side, the finesse of the tannins. Altogether very elegant and fine - dancing compared to the earthier Comme - and very long.

Super nose and attack. Very charming sweep of red fruits and floral notes. Delicious but more serious a tad tighter without being too hefty - just a bit leaner for now - will open and be a real charmer. Planted in 1983.

Very purple, with a smokier nose. Good pert fruit on the palate, with a lovely smoky, savoury backbone. Firm but gentle tannins. Lovely.
