50% new wood. Lovely concentration as you'd expect, here there's a lifted finesse, bright expression. Taut and driven, tightening on the mineral, incredible concentration and long - with athletic power. L&S (Nov 2021)

Overt and rugged in aromatics, this smells of forest floor and smoked meats. The full-bodied attack delivers red plums and raspberries that turn to black cherries on the long and savoryspiced finish. Tangy acidity and sturdy, mildly dry tannins indicate there's no rush here. Drinking range: 2025 - 2038 Rating: 95 Christy Canterbury MW - TimAtkin.com (Feb 2022)

A cuvée that continues to go from strength to strength at this address, the 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle is immensely promising. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, burning embers, rose petals, wild plums, exotic spices and espresso roast, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a tightly wound core of fruit, tangy acids and powdery tannins. Concluding with a long, penetrating finish, it's worth a special effort to seek out. Rating: 93-95+ William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (Jan 2022)

(from a .32 ha parcel; vinified with 60% whole cluster). An overtly floral and expressive nose exhibits notes of wild dark cherry, anise and a hint of wood. The more elegant and refined middle weight flavors aren’t quite as powerful but they are more complex and just as concentrated on the youthfully austere finale. This wonderfully stylish mineral-driven effort isn’t as structured but it’s more complete. Drinking range: 2032 - Rating: 93-95 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2022)
