Composed entirely of Cabernet Franc this year, the 2021 Todeschini Distique 14 wafts from the glass with aromas of dark berries, loamy soil, woodsmoke and spices. Medium to full-bodied, lively and seamless, with powdery tannins and bright acids, it's a strong effort. Rating: 90-92 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (May 2022)

Distique has been the signature of the Todeschini Brothers since 2008. Each vintage is identified by a number which enumerates the fourhanded pieces designed by Karl and YannWinemaker's notes
Well extracted, carefully handled, almond and fennel notes giving an attractive touch of bitterness on the finish, softened through the palate by bright blueberry and loganberry fruit. Has plenty of ageing potential. Drinking range: 2026 - 2040 Rating: 89 Jane Anson, www.janeanson.com (May 2022)

Château Mangot
A single block of 37 hectares of vines on limestone clay soils run by the Todeschini family. The vineyard is planted with 75% Merlot, although this is tending to give way to Cabernet Franc in new plantings. 5% Cabernet Sauvignon completes the mix. Farming is organic, and the estate was awarded the Robert Parker 'Green Emblem' in 2023.
Élevage is in a mix of barrels, foudres and amphorae.
