The following wines have been released by Château Latour in small volumes. These wines represent the last releases from the property for these wines, and the last chance to buy ex-chateau stock. They come with proof-tags and back labels saying they are the 2014 release.

The 2011 is a true classic of the style, less tight and a bit more spicy than some vintages on release. Nevertheless slow to open up, it has penetrating concentration in a mid-weight body, a nose which in its tobacco and cedar-box aromas shows a perfect ripeness, but is in no way overbearing.

The adventurous and sportif Paul Jacqueson and his wife Marie make wines of impeccable quality, when not climbing in the Himalayas, close indeed to their much more expensive cousins on the Côte d’Or. We have a particular fondness for their whites, and especially the Pucelle, which is a model of what a great Rully can be year after year.

Delighted to say that we have received news that we are on the shortlists for ALL the categories we entered in the IWC – the International Wine Challenge. To be on four specialist category shortlists (Burgundy, Champagne, Italy and En Primeur) is a matter of particular pride since L&S is so much more than a regional specialist, unearthing great wines without prejudice from all over the world.
