Last week Lea & Sandeman took over the 6th floor of the flagship Foyles bookshop, to host our ‘Celebration of Spring’ tasting. Alongside a selection of standout spring wines, the event also presented the first opportunity to taste through our recently-bolstered range of ‘grower’ Champagnes, with 15 different Champagne growers on show and over 70 different cuvées being poured.
While there are those that would dismiss Rosé as frivolous and just something to quench a thirst at the end of a long day or on a sunny Bank Holiday, we have always held with the view that these wines have so much more to offer given the right partner.
Summer has been a long time coming this year, but still our Provence Rosés have been selling steadily - partly because rosé has become an all-year-round choice, and partly, no doubt, in anticipation. You can find all our rosés here, and order NOW for the weekend*.
All gone. We shipped more than ever before but still the MiP* has outsold demand. There's not a bottle to be had in the land. The winery is dry. We're MiP*ped out. What to do? Wait for the next vintage, one supposes, but you may develop a thirst before next Spring and the sun hasn't finished shining yet.
We are delighted that the sun is back in the heavens and all is well, and present the rosés that have arrived so far this year. The ranges from Guillaume Philip and Domaine Sainte Lucie and Domaine des Diables are as stunning as ever.
